Magandang araw po....Magtatanung lang sana po ako.. Anu po ba requirements sa pag-aaply ng bagong employment visa.. Thanks Oli Santos
Dear Mr. Santos, I would like to acknowledge receipt of your e-mail dated 14 September 2011 concerning your query on the requirements for acquiring a new employment visa. Per information provided by the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) at the Philippine Embassy, please be informed of the following: 1. The first requirement is the approval of the BUR 500 by the Brunei Labor Department; 2. After the approval of the BUR 500, the employer must file the application for the employment visa of his worker at the Brunei Department of Immigration and National Registration; 3. The next step involves the verification and authentication of the labor contract at the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO), Philippine Embassy. Assuming that the worker is still in the Philippines, the employer usually brings the contract for verification and processing at the POLO in the Philippine Embassy; and 4. Finally, after the contract is verified and authenticated by the POLO in the Philippine Embassy in Brunei, the contracts are forwarded by the Brunei agent to their counterparts in Manila. The counterpart agency in Manila will then inform the worker that he will need to undergo the necessary medical exams, and other procedures prior to departure for Brunei Darussalam. I hope this clarifies your queries on how to obtain a new employment visa.
Very truly yours, Raymond R. Balatbat Consul General
