Magandang araw po sa inyo about my "problem" here in Brunei.

Gusto ko lng pong e ask if pwede po ba akong magresign agad as long as nabayaran ko ung "loan" ko dito sa boss ko noong pumunta ako ng Brunei last February.

Kinuha nya po kasi ung passport ko and as of now gusto kong makuha ung passport ko at bayaran po ung loan na nakuha ko sa kanya.

Ang probema ko po is paano kung ayaw nya po akong payagang magresign at ayaw nyang ibigaw un passport ko po?

Sa pagre-resign po ba kailangan 1month notice para maging effective ung pagre-resign po?

Ayaw ko na po kasing magwork sa boss ko po.

Please be informed of the following:

1.Passports should always be in the possession of the worker.

It should never be given to the employer.

2.Under the law, you must file your letter of resignation one month in advance in order for it to take effect.

3. Furthermore, you should state in your letter why you are resigning.

If you are resigning for delayed or non-payment of salaries, then it will be easy for you to demand a return plane ticket from your employer, as this is guaranteed under Brunei laws.

4. If, however, you are resigning for "personal reasons," then you will have to shoulder your own return ticket.

They will be in a better position to provide you with the proper guidance, once we know all the facts regarding your case.
